DALTON TOWNSHIP
PLANNING COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that the Dalton Township Planning Commission will conduct public hearings at a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 6:00 pm. These hearings will be for the following items:
• A proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance pertaining to animals, gardening, site drainage and existing residential uses in commercial zoning districts.
• A special land use permit application at 3081 Beattie Rd for ground mounted solar arrays.
A copy of the proposed ordinance and the Special Land Use application are both available at the Dalton Township Office, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Rd during the hours of 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Please call (231) 332-6706 for further information. Written comments may be sent to the above address or via email to: zoningadministrator@daltontownship.org. Comments should be received no later than May 27.
The Township of Dalton will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed material considered at the meeting, to individuals who want to attend the meeting, upon seven (7) days notice to the Township of Dalton.
