Summer Programs Available

Family Programs
*Third Wednesday of the Month June 15th, July 20th, August 17th @ 6:00pm
Spend an hour with your family and friends watching a film about
the water and creatures around the world. Each month will be a
different film, Snacks provided, bring your own water or soda in a
covered container.

Children's Programs
*Monday June 27th @ 3:00pm Could you be Submariner?
USS Silversides staff will be here with submarine facts and history.
Kids that attend will receive a free ticket to jumping Joe Day at the
USS Silversides Submarine Museum.

*Monday July 18th @ 3:00pm Ocean Commotion
It's time for some hands-on STEAM fun with MADL staff

*Monday June 20th @ 3:00pm John Ball Traveling Zoo
The Zoo us coming to you! Join us for a live animal show.

*Monday July 11th @ 3:00pm Music with Rick Kelley
Get ready for highly interactive one-man band music show with
Mona Shores graduate, Rick Kelley.

*Monday July 25th @ 3:00pm Wet and Wild Animals
Join the Outdoor Discovery Center of Holland to see live Michigan
animals that can be found near rivers and lakes.

Teen Programs
*Friday July 15th @2:00pm Ocean in a Bottle
Come to the library to create an Ocean in a Bottle to take home,
or give as a gift. Sooth away your summer days. Space is limited to
10 teens. Registration required on the madl.org calendar.

*Friday July 29th @2:00pm Make it @MADL: Duct tape Book Bag
The possibilities are endless when you make a book bag using
Duct tape. Material provided. Registration required on the
madl.org calendar.

Adult Programs
*Monday July 11th @ 3:00pm Tech Talks: Facebook 101
Get comfortable with Facebook as you learn about privacy settings.
sharing, uploading, and more. Bring your Facebook login and password
so you can follow along in your own account. Registration at madl.org/calendar

*Second and fourth Wednesday of the month 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Senior Navigation Services
Are you over 60? If you need help finding a primary car physician, applying for
benefits (veterans, food stamps, Medicaid) paying for medications, obtaining durable
medial equipment, financial assistance for hospital bill payment, utility assistance and
food or housing, the Senior Navigator from Health Project HUB can help with answering
questions and linking you to services. No registration required - just drop in!
