Central ROAD IMPROVEMENT
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 1

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Township Board of the Township of Dalton, Muskegon County, Michigan, has determined to construct road improvements consisting of the paving of Central Road from Bard Road to Riley Thompson Road to serve properties located within Central Road Improvement Special Assessment District No. 1 (the “District”) (the “Improvements”), pursuant to Act 188 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1954, as amended.

The Township Board has tentatively determined that all or part of the cost of said Improvements shall be specially assessed against each of the following described lots and parcels of land which are benefited by the Improvements and which together comprise the following proposed special assessment district:

TAKE NOTICE that the Township Board of the Township of Dalton will hold a public hearing at a regular meeting of the Township Board on February 13, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, at the Dalton Township Hall, 1616 East Riley Thompson Road, Muskegon 49445 within the Township, to hear and consider any objections to the proposed Improvements, the District and all other matters relating to said Improvements and the District.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that preliminary plans and estimates of cost for the Improvements are on file with the Township Clerk for public examination.

PROPERTY SHALL NOT BE ADDED TO THE PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT AND THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE OF COST SHALL NOT BE INCREASED BY MORE THAN 10% WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING.
