Transfer Station Attendant
Job description: manage everything to do with the transfer station, giving prices and accepting payments, calling when bins are full to get them taken care of, lawn care and maintenance at the station, ideally also able to plow. Potential option for other lawn care and maintenance work at township facilities. Must be able to work with people in a friendly manner, while also correcting people who want to dump things in the wrong places, and handling the complaints of people that do not like the prices or want special favors that cannot be granted. The transfer station is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer, and just Saturdays during the winter. The pay is 17 dollars per hour.
