NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Dalton Township Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 6:00 pm at 1616 E Riley Thompson Rd in consideration of the following items:

• An amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to permit accessory buildings on parcels without a principal building.
• An application to amend the zoning district at 2485 Holton Rd from R-1 Low Density Residential to C-2 Regional Commercial.
• An application to amend the existing special land use permit for Thunderbird Raceway at 350 W Riley Thompson Rd to allow the racing of pit bikes, snowmobiles, and side by sides.
• An application to amend the zoning district at 5463 Holton Rd from C-1 Neighborhood Commercial to C-2 Regional Commercial.

The application materials, proposed ordinances and ordinances, and the Dalton Township Zoning Ordinance are available for review at the Dalton Township Office, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Rd during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Any interested person may attend the public hearing and may offer comments to the planning commission.
